English, as the international language, is widely spoken all over the world. When people of two different languages meet, they resort to a third language for mutual communication and understanding. For its widespread use and acceptance, English plays the role of the common language. Moreover, English is essential for getting a better job & salaries. Multinational and international business organizations ask for people who have a good working knowledge of English. So, in order to get a good opening in the job market a person should be skilled both in written and spoken English. In this regard, our students are very weak in English subject. Reading English newspapers / English Journals can help develop students' skills in English.
