Beggary Essay/Composition; A person who leads his life by begging is known as a beggar. He earns his livelihood by begging. Though it is not a profession it is widespread in developing or poor countries like us.

Usually, a beggar is a physically disabled person. He/she is blind, lame, or has other physical disabilities. As they are not suitable to do any job, so they choose to beg as their earning pathway. They are the victim of the cruelty of fate.

Generally, they don't have any permanent house to live in. Slums are their main living place. But greater portions of the beggar even don't have the ability to live in slums. Rail station, launch station, bus station, or footpath is their only living place. They lead a miserable life during rain and cold. We often see beggar with dirty clothes and grubby hairs come to our houses and ask for alms, money, foods or clothes. They beg door to door all day long. Their need is too little. They are always happy with what they get and bless us. Sometimes they are seen on the roadsides of towns or big cities. Stations, outside the stadiums, places where people usually gather are their common begging spots.

But all the beggars are not physically disabled. There are many fake beggars who are physically fit and have the ability to do jobs but adopt begging as their profession to earn money without physical labor. Even some beggars have enough wealth to live properly but they can't give up beggary for their greed. For this, sometimes it is difficult to distinguish between the fake beggar and the needy one.

Charity is always encouraged by our religion. So we should help the truly needy people. But at the same time, begging for the people who are physically fit is also discouraged in our religion. So the people who beg only for their greed are doing crime.

However, begging is not good for the development of a country. It should be removed.

For this, rich people along with the government must come forward to rehabilitate the disabled people who are unfit for doing any job. Also, necessary initiatives must be taken by us so that we can appoint the semi disabled beggars to light works. By this, they can able to earn their livelihood. At last, we need to more gracious to them.
