Coronavirus Paragraph: Coronavirus is one of the most talked topics of the present world. The newly identified respiratory virus was discovered in December 2019 in China. The virus causes a disease called COVID-19 which stands for Corona Virus Disease 2019. The word Corona is a Latin word which means crown. Because of the crown like the shape of the virus, the virus has been named Coronavirus. Coronaviruses are a group of viruses that cause disease in mammals and birds.

In human Karuna, viruses cause respiratory tract infections that are typically mild such as some cases of the common cold. The affected persons have seen some major symptoms such as fever, runny nose, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat body aches trouble in breathing, etc. Coronaviruses are spread through direct contact with an infected person in a range of about 3 to 6 feet. A person who has been exposed to the illness is to be monitored for 14 days. Vaccines or antiviral drugs are yet to be invented to prevent or treat human coronavirus infections. Now it has been reported that many countries of the world including Bangladesh have been affected. Besides, because of coronavirus, the global economy has been decreasing day by day.
The good news is that 94% of the affected persons have been cured and 6% of patients have a diet. The persons having strong disease resistant capabilities in their body may be cured soon. But the person with diabetics, asthma, and high blood pressure are at great risk of death. For preventing oneself from infection of these viruses proper handwashing with soap and water before eating, after using the washroom, after blowing the nose, coughing and sneezing. Besides, masks and hand gloves should be used for protection.

The virus was confirmed to have spread to Bangladesh in the middle of March 2020. Since then the pandemic has speared day by day over the whole nation. As it is a contagious outbreak and no vaccine or medicine is not invented yet so lockdown and social distancing are the most effective antidote for snuffing virus. However, these measures face challenges in Bangladesh, a lower-middle-income economy with one of the Worlds densest populations. Again the public health sector is stuck in mismanagement, corruption, and lack of integrity of different stakeholders.

The COVID-19 outbreak has opened our eyes to the shattered Healthcare system. However, the concern has been raised that extreme insufficiency of testing, unavailable medical support, lack of protective gear for doctors. Again unplanned lockdown causes great harm to its economy because a significant proportion of Bangladesh lives hand to mouth, lockdown is not a feasible idea here. With no savings and work how will the poor and marginal people feed themselves? That is an issue. Preparedness is the key to addressing any health crisis while continuing the lockdown at any cost with strict maintenance the country has to expand its testing and healthcare facilities. Above all improvised and timely measures taken with proper coordination may help the country to fight against the lethal virus.
