Digital Bangladesh Composition; A country having most of the governmental and non-governmental works performed online via the internet, where everyone is truly dependent on IT, is called a digital country. So, 'Digital Bangladesh' means making the country digital with the help of IT. The present govt. has set out to make the country digital to reduce the lack of internet usage in every sector of Bangladesh.

To make the people of our county more internet savvy, Awami League, one of the leading political parties of this country, came up with an election manifesto back in 2008. From that period, the term was widespread and the govt. involved itself in making the country digital.
Although Bangladesh is an independent country, we are lagging behind in developing various business and private sectors. Because we are not fully digital. To reduce this backwardness, sectors like governance, commerce, education, agriculture are now powered by computers and the internet. The govt. is now working on the problems of unemployment, population, poverty, illiteracy, corruption, natural calamities, food-deficit, etc. And the govt. is doing everything digitally with the help of spreading the use of the internet all over the country.

So, the main purpose of digital Bangladesh is to make our country as technology-based digital governance, e-commerce, e-agriculture, e-production, e-education, etc. Also, an uninterrupted power supply and computer network system are needed. People from all walks of life must also have basic ICT knowledge.
A digital Bangladesh will certainly be beneficial. It will save our time, age and money. It can reduce the unemployment problem. And it will make people more aware of the internet system, cybersecurity as well as cybercrime. More importantly, it will connect people with the whole world and aware of international decisions and developments. It is beneficial for every sector even at the cost of high expense.
The present govt is truly working hard to develop Bangladesh as a digital country. So all citizens have to work hard to get our country as digital Bangladesh. We can expect that soon Bangladesh is going to be a fully digital country. And this would be one step ahead to be a developed one
