After reading this article, you can write 1. Greenhouse effect paragraph 2. The bad impact of the greenhouse effect paragraph- suitable for class 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, JSC, 9, SSC, 10, 11, 12, HSC.
Greenhouse Effect Paragraph
Paragraph on Greenhouse Effect: The greenhouse effect is a threat to the existing human beings, animals, plants, and above all, all the phenomena of the world. It is associated with global warming. The temperature of the world is increasing gradually. Carbon dioxide is the main culprit of Greenhouse. It is being deposited gradually in the atmosphere. It is generally produced when fossil fuel is burnt. Carbon dioxide entraps the heat in the atmosphere. As a result, the temperature of the world is on the increase. CFC contributes devastatingly to the greenhouse effect. We use the refrigerator in our daily life that is also producing CFC. Many companies are using CFC for manufacturing goods, packaging commercial products, aerosol, etc.

This CFC is responsible to a great extent for the greenhouse effect. The adverse effect of the greenhouse is very disastrous. It is feared that by the mid-century the world temperature will increase 4-degree Celsius. The polar ice caps have started to melt. The sea level is rising. Consequently, the lower regions of the world will go underwater, and the southern regions of Bangladesh will also go underwater. This catastrophic disaster must be checked. It is to be done to save our existence.
Paragraph on the Greenhouse Effect
Green House Effect Paragraph: The greenhouse effect is the process by which the air surrounding the earth is becoming warmer day by day. In other words, it is the gradual warming of the air which ultimately results in the gradual increase in the world temperature. In short, we know the rise in atmospheric temperature as the greenhouse effect. The carbon dioxide is primarily responsible for temperature rise in the atmosphere. Burning coal and oil increases carbon dioxide. As a result, the ice covering the north and south poles is melting and may eventually lead to a rise in sea levels which can flood many areas of the world.

Scientists have already given warming that some parts of coastal countries including Bangladesh may go underwater due to the greenhouse effect. The total area of deserts is increasing day by day. Many animals and plants are endangered with the threat of extinction. In order to protect ourselves from its catastrophic impact and to prevent global warming, we should take some effective measures. Therefore, the deliberate cutting down of forests must be stopped. Govt. as well as NGOs should start more tree plantation programs. Govt should take steps to put an end to the causes and sources of emitting carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
Short paragraph on GreenHouse Effect
The process of warming of the troposphere and the earth's surface is called the greenhouse effect. It is due to the gases known as greenhouse gases such as methane, carbon dioxide, ozone, water vapor, etc.
When incoming sunlight is reflected by the earth's surface and atmosphere most of the sunlight is absorbed by the earth. This causes the warming of the earth's surface. As a consequence, earth surface emits IR (Infrared) radiation. Some of these radiation escape to space and some are absorbed by greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. This absorbed portion scatter in all directions and again warmth the earth's surface and troposphere. The trap of this heat continues again and again.

Carbon dioxide is the main culprit for the greenhouse effect. Unfortunately, this gas is rapidly rising in the atmosphere due to the unconscious activities of humans. Trees help in absorbing carbon dioxide. But deforestation contributes to the rise in carbon dioxide as trees are being cut down. Rapid industrialization is also responsible for it. Gases that emit from motor vehicles have CO2 and methane. Burning of fossil fuel and plastic elevate CO2 levels in the atmosphere. Moreover, the use of artificial nitrogen in fields by farmers, CFCs (Chlorofluorocarbons) in the refrigerator and air conditioner, water vapors enhance the level of greenhouse gases.
The effects of the greenhouse effect are very harmful to the existence of living beings. The surface temperature is increasing day by day which causes global warming. As a result, the ice caps of the polar region are melting rapidly. The water level of the sea is rising. It is considered that the coastal countries will go underwater in the next fifty years. The rising of the total area of the desert is also threatening for us. Many species of plants and animals have already been abolished and many of them are on the verge of extinction.
But it is time to save our earth. We should plant more and more trees. Exemplary punishment should apply to illegal woodcutters. The alternative of fossil fuels must figure out. Govt. should ban the industries emitting greenhouse gases and control the emission of CO2. All govt. and non-govt. organizations must come forward. If you can do so our beloved earth will survive for a long time.
