Demanding Better Medical Facilities in Govt. Hospitals

The facilities that are available for health care in the government hospitals in Bangladesh are the poorest in the world. In our country, on average there is only one doctor for 12,000 people and one hospital bed for every 5000 people and one nurse for every 55000 people. The minimum medical health care and medical facilities can not be extended to the growing number of people and, serious, health and sanitation problems are likely to crop up. There will be more deaths and diseases.

Again ill health & disease affect the efficiency of the people which in turn reduces agricultural and industrial production. In such a situation it is not possible to lead an easy & comfortable life. The people will have to drag a miserable existence. Besides, every year many people roll down on the icy lap of death for want of proper medical care and facilities. Lots of people also suffer from various diseases and advance toward death.
